I have a 99 Volvo Penta 5.0. I just bought this boat and the guy said it wasn't idling well. The motor has only 55 hours on it. Today I changed the oil, fuel filter, plugs, and lower unit oil. I saw nothing alarming. Everything fired up good, but you have to give the engine at least 1000rpm's so it won't stall. When in neutral it just dies, once at 1000rpm's though it sounds PERFECT.
I don't think it's the fuel, what could it be and how can I fix it.
Thanks so much in advance. I'm new to the board, but looking forward to helping out as much as I can and looking forward to my first boat!
Thanks,
Chris David
