99 V8 exhaust manifold and riser recommendations

99 model V8 300 h.p. small block G.M. mercruiser,raw water cooled. Need help deciding exhaust manifold and riser replacement. The boat is used in fresh water and salt water but trailered and flushed after every use. Any recommendations which brand to install ? Thanks

in the past on here I've seen some people mention a problem with GLM (I remember Bondo, maybe some others), other than that BARR and OSCO seem to do ok according to others. I am lining up the same thing for my 85 Merc 260, if you search you can find a few posts on this, some tips, etc. Some would recommend that if you use in salt to put Merc on. For me a Merc set of mani/risers is 500 a side, I can cut that in about half with aftermarket. Hopefully more will chime in with actual experiences. Just my 0.02, good luck

Ayuh,... But they leaked water into my motor,...

I had to take 'em off, 'n remachine the gasket surfaces Flat, so they'd hold a gasket...

Other than that, they're still on the boat...

I just did Barr the other day, small block Chev V8 perfect fit but
BUY the OEM gaskets and toss the ones that come with Barr.

I just put a set of Sierria on mine, no issues as of yet.
