99 tecumseh engine

Have a lawnmower with a 1999 millenium tecumseh engine. Engine seized up. Anyone else have this problem or a similar one with this type of engine?<br />All replys greatly appreciated. Thanks

Is it pull start?<br />I have had two tecumseh 5hp engines. Both have had a prob w/ the pull start mechanism, it seems to lock up. It may have to do with the saftey lever and cable not engaging properly. I will NEVER buy another.

i wouldnt have one stuck you know were nothing but problems big or small

I fixed my snow blower snowking 5hp its an easy fix. Nice engines I like them better than some. Should a could got a honda
