99 Merc 200 EFI, fuel bulb loses prime???

My 99 engine since the day it was new keeps losing the prime on the bulb. Had it to dealer 5 times now and they have rebuilt fuel pump and replaced fuel lines supposedly. It still loses prime and has been at the dealers for 3 months. It does it after running around for 30 min to an hour, then it acts like it runs out of gas. Pump the bulb and off you go again. It only has about 25hrs on it. Any ideas??? <br />Thanks <br />Greg <br />

Borrow a 6 gallon tank and try your motor. If it runs properly after your initial run, it is in your fuel line or tank.

Have you repalaced the fuel line between the motor and the fuel tank? A buddy of mione had the same problem and it was a bad check valve in the fuel line.

Thanks guys, I have not tried a different fuel tank. I told my dealer to replace the fuel line and I shot a little paint on it just to mark it so I could tell if they did indeed replace it. I havnt picked up the boat yet to see if they did replace it. If they did, I will run the boat to see if prob is gone, if it isnt I will try the alternate tank mentioned.
