99 honda water in oil

Looking at a boat that has a 130 hp Honda 4 stroke on it. It has water in the oil and the person I am looking to buy it from says it has a blown head
gasket. I know this can be one problem but is there anything else I should
look for or how can you tell for sure? Thanks for any input!!!

You are looking at a problem child.The owner needs to have a Honda mechanic look at it because the 130 is well known for that problem and it may be covered warenty.

yes Honda did have a block cracking problem in 99 and is covered by honda

i Did a number of block changes in 01,02

Does it matter if you are the original owner for it to be covered?

One other thing, does it matter that the motor is 10 years old now?
