99 Evinrude 15 hp 4 Stroke

This outboard has electric start, but I can't find the start button anywhere. I can jump the solenoid and it will start right up. Is the start button an accessory you have to buy? or is there some trick I don't know about?

By the shift lever, when in neutral, you will see a small button, facing the stb. side. Press it in to crank the motor over. If you shift into forward or reverse, the lever bracket will cover the button so you cannot start it in gear.
