it is fuel injected so no carbs....i have it running off a six gallon aux tank so i know the lines and ventilation is good...anyone...the closest i have seen to this problem it ended up being one of the filters inside the cowl but just want to be sure

jalsmiley - Have you had your BF130 inspected for the cracked block problem? If you haven't, or don't even know what I'm talking about, read this thread:

BF130 High Throttle Problem

Search this forum for "cracked block" or just read other threads from the same timeframe as the above for more info, including what serial number engines were affected.

Honda back in 2003 did notify BF130 owners of the potential defect and authorized a free one-time inspection. Where a cracked block was found Honda replaced the powerheads free of charge and extended the warranty to 10 years from date of original purchase. If you're not the original owner you might not have been sent the notice and I don't know if they'll honor the warranty if that's the case. If you're up in Canada, you're out of luck.

Hope you bought the motor through a dealer and that dealer will go to bat for you 'cause Honda won't respond to you directly, or at least they didn't to the folks in the thread above.

Good luck.
