Having owned mostly older outboards, I am used to checking the pee hole for a functional water pump impeller. Just bought a 98 Yamaha 8 (tiller), and noticed there was no water coming forth, just a drip, and now and then a little more than a drip. Ran fine and power head seems ok to the touch. Then checked the manual and there is nothing mentioned about a pee hole. However, there is a mention of a troubleshooting procedure in the event of a warning buzzer sounding. Did Yamaha feature a warning buzzer on this model if pump fails? Thanks.....Gary
