End of the summer I tagged a rock and destroyed my lower unit. I found a used housing in great shape bought a new bearing carrier and all the seals and gaskets to repair it. Just had some free time got it all together pressure tested it (needs to hold 10lb for 5min) and a verrry slow leak at the outer seal of my prop shat. The bearing carrier came assembeled minus the reverse gear and bearing. The seals are going in the correct directions and appear perfect, any thoughts?

Did you do a vacume test? I wonder if you could have bent or damage the prop shaft when you destroyed the the lower unit? Also, did you check the drive shaft seal surfaces to make sure they were smooth enough to hold a seal?

Did you lube the seal lips when reassembled? Did you reshim the unit when swapping? You cannot just swap parts into another housings without rchecking/reshimming as gears will fail.
