This spring my motor seems to stall when I give her the gas, after slow idling/trolling for awhile. I think it did this last year, but seems to be more of a problem now. I would guess it amounts to
a carb cleaning, due to old gas/oil gumming up. Cleaned the plugs, they were a bit carboned/oily. The carbs look straightforward enough but I'd like to have a manual anyway.

Anyone know where I could get the factory manual, rather than Clymer/Seloc? Those aftermarket brands have disappointed me in the past, not as thorough as I'd like sometimes.

Thanks!

Try opening the idle jets another 1/4 turn first. Factory manuals are the best. You can only get them thru a Merc dealer, but they come up on eBay as well

I got my factory manual off of ebay for a significant savings over what Mercury was selling them for. Check eBay first.
