hello everyone, i have a 97 85 hp suzuki that i have been working on. its bout to drive me crazy. it seems like it just drops a cylinder sometimes at random and loses power and rpm. i have had the carbs cleaned at the boat shop, brought it out and ran great except was 7 mph slower than when it ran its best. brought home and tinkered with it went to lake 2 days in a row and it ran great almost to full speed. then i was running a shoal and it was just like u hit a switch u could hear the motor change sound and speed reduced again, like it lost a few hundred rpm. i ran it a bit more and it never picked back up. i bought a tach before this run but when i hooked it up it wouldn't work. i hooked it up just like the instructions, so i am guessing i have a another prob. needing some help please.
