One of our seadoo's won't start sometimes, A lot of the time it will and if you are riding it, it will quit and then you go to push the start button and nothing. The battery is not dead. Sometimes we can get it started by hitting and beating on the handle bars, this is very inconvenient. Is there something we can look for to solve this problem.
When we push on the button the gas gauge will work and it will beep usually, but other than that, nothing. Then randomly it will start.

Its not handle bars problems, main connection on box to the brain, will come loose. Get electrical ties and go around box have tie run thru middle of wires and plug and pull tight, when storage box moves around it will knock loose, cheap connector on plug get wear out or get broke

Yeah, it's a loose electrical connection. Pretty common. The MPEM for that ski is mounted in the bow, so maybe your beating on the bars is helping make the connection.
Clean all the push-together fittings and you should be A-OK.
