lets start off with launching the boat the engine starts fine, idles at the dock while i park and runs great to wherever i want to go. once i reach my destination ,idling in the engine starts idling low and rough until it dies. fish for 10min to an hour and it will not restart! have to 3/4 throttle it to start ,at times it wont even hit, have to tilt engine up fully and spin over like old carburated motor thats flooded!then it is extremly hard to get n2 gear for it dies every time tryin to shift into gear. once in gear and under way on a steady cruise 30-40mph engine will not maintain steady speed, surging and loading up. throttle up and through it runs great slowing back down starts falling on its *** again. because of poor idle issue return to dock early from tournaments to beat rush hour at the dock for 90% of the time i have to use trolling motor to load up! in 5 diffrent shops with two mercury reps 1700.oo in diagnosis with tear down to find nothing! they guess computor but at the same shop they swaped out computor from good running engine that had lower unit problem 4months earlier and said it wasnt computor! they also swaped out fuel pump assy, bench tested fuel injector, tore engine apart to inspect cylinders, reed valves?,pistons, rings, ect....HELP!!!!!
