Hey guys. Got a problem. I have a 1997 Mariner 75 that sat up for 3 years. Last October I Flushed the entire fuel system and rebuilt the carburetors. Also I replaced the rectifier. It ran great. Well it has been sitting since October; I pulled it out Sat. morning and hooked the hose to it and it fired right up. I let it run for about 10 minutes. Hooked up to it last night and went to the ship channel. I never left the launch. It never hit a lick. No fire whatsoever. I checked all grounds and still nothing. Any ideas? Thanks, Keith

Did the helm kill switch get bumped to the off position, if not here's the test for the ign. system.

The first thing that comes to mind is the emergency kill switch. You know the one you hook your lanyard to so if you fall overboard it kills the engine. I think that is what #1 in the above post is asking you to test.

It doesnt have a emergency kill. Gonna go isolate the black/yellow wires from the harness and see what happens.
