97 mariner 50hp fourstroke connecting rod and bearing

I have a 97 mariner 50hp fourstroke that ran out of oil so i tore it down and found #1 rod bearing had spun.i can get the crankshaft turned but i am having trouble finding the rod and bearings.also what size bearings are availible.

This is a link from the parts list I sent you a few weeks ago:

Mercury, Mercruiser, Force, etc. - CRANKSHAFT - 40/50 (4- STROKE) 50 BIGFOOT, 45 BODENSEE

See rod, item 5 and bearings, item 7. Select the bearing per Section 4, page 29 of the service manual I sent you according to the letters stamped on the rod, which will give you a colour.

You cannot get oversized bearings if you have crank turned down.:grumpy: Also the main bearings match the block so dont mix up which color when where. You will have to get the crank built up and then turned down to factory spec, then use plastiguage on a old bearing and measure,take measurement and look at chart to see which bearing you use to get it within factory spec's. Since you state it ran out of oil I would replace every bearing in it.
