Have had this 1997 260HP Mariner Offshore for 2 seasons. Sometime it will run and sometime it won't. My mechanic and I have borrowed and/or replaced everything electronic and fuel, but not all at the same time.<br />At times it will crank and run, but not the whole trip. It will start to "fish bite" (skip) at high speed and then just get slower until it shuts down. There is fuel in the tank, new water separator, and fuel pump working. Then it just may crank and idle but won't get on top and run. Then again it may not even crank.<br />Have shipped EFI box to rebuilder while I tried to run this Merc EFI box but it just shut down with this one (we borrowed it).<br />I am at the end of the line with it.<br />Got any suggestions?<br />R.
