I have a fitch 150 and after about 15 min. of driving, the no oil light comes on and the beeper. I did a pressure test off of the oil pump and got around 6 psi on idle when I first went out. Then after the no oil light comes on I rechecked the pressure and had nothing. I kinked the return line and had nothing. I squeezed the primer bulb and got oil pressure. Now Im thinking the pump stops pumping after the motor heats up or the injector is sticking open after it heats up. Im going out now to see if when the no oil light comes on if I kink the line between the pump and the injector if the pressure will go up, If so I will isolate the pump or possible problems before the injector.
Has anyone had this problem before? Or can anyone help on this topic? It would be appreciated. Its frustrating that the problem only happens after about 15 min. because when I get an idea, I have to drive it until the problem arises. Thanks.
