:confused::Have one screw missing on carb box mount , and skijet wont turn over, is there anything to stop the screw except crank, piston and ect.?????
how much damage you think is done, do need new engine.?????

will the engine turn over by hand in either direction ? If not you are gonna be taking the engine apart to check damage.

was the engine running when it stopped? If no, damage should be minimal. Maybe a new piston and a quick hone at the most.

THanks, took heads off and pistons one piston had broke pc out of intake side,it was down by crank, also found the screw by crank.Heads look fine no deep scratches,intake an exhaust ports look good also,no visaul damage to crank what should i look for??
What piston should i look for wisco,pro x any suggestions???

I would say go with OEM if you want to spend the $$$, its going to be the best. Or see if anyone makes an aftermarket cast aluminum piston. Dont bother with wiseco forged aluminum. For the money you can get an OE piston which will be better in EVERY way than a wiseco.

Yes go OEM pistons , Are you going to just replace the one or are you going to do them all ?

Since the screw was all the way down past the piston and there was a broken piece, you should check for metal debris, so none will not get into the crank bearings. Buy a gasket set and re-ring the other cyclinders and hone them good.

found screw on center of crank still in one pc, small broken pc on intake of piston, got all pcs out and flushed crank,going with 2 new pistons - prox- jugs sent to machine shop said they were in great shape.now when rebuild do i need to put any sealeant on gaskets of jugs or ????exhaust besides the gasket??
i know i need lock tite
