The Cruise Control in my venerable '97 E-150 van just quit. After 11 years and 223K miles of reliable service, I guess it was time.
The CC is controlled from steeringwheel switches with the on/off and set speed buttons. Is anyone aware of what the most likely component to have failed is?
It could be a simple switch that got dirty or something else that is simple. I hate to go pay a dealer big $$$$$$$$$$'s just to diagnose it. That is their game these days. Huge upfront diagnostic charges then a quote to repair.
