97 3.0lx merc can i get tune up patrs from autozon

i was wondering if i could get tune up parts from a auto store for my 97 3.0 lx mercruiser does any know what vechicle would be the same

Alternators, Starters, carbs and fuelpumps must be marine rated, for safety. If you boat on salt water, I recommend you buy marine plug wires, dissy cap and circulating pumps. If you boat on freshwater you can use standard automotive circulating pumps, plug wires, dissy caps. Auto Spark plugs and auto fuel filters are OK for all use. Try to match up the fan belts with auto brand, and yo will save 2/3.

Ayuh,.....

The 3.0l was Never used in an automotive application,....
But,.....
Napa, as well as some other auto parts houses still sell Marine rated replacement parts......

I'll 2nd the Napa suggestion if you're looking for someone local. My local Napa has to order parts for most marine stuff I get but they're shipping from nearby warehouses. I've only had to wait 2 days at most for anything I've gotten through them with most stuff getting there next day.
