So it started off as just a slight miss every so often, but still had lots of power, it would just lose a few rmp every 35 seconds or so and then jump right back up. This was at all rmp ranges but most apparant at higher rpm's. I dropped some crab traps and fired it back up. This time I barely made it on plane and the cutting out of cylinders(power) was VERY obvious and still eratic but for much longer periods of time and out of the hole it really shook the boat. I checked all the connections I could and used di-electric grease when putting them back together. I cleaned the ground conections and fired it back up. No better, in fact it felt worse. My kicker rope broke so I had no choice but to limp the 225 back home. by the time i was half way it was bucking and popping. I pulled the plugs and they were soaked with fuel but looked normal other than that. I ran the motor without each plug, one at a time to see if water came out the plug hole and check for head gasket leaks. No water. I am going to check the spark on each coil to see if this is the problem. I am new to the world of 2 stroke efi motors so any help would greatly appreciated.

Well I heard the alternator belt squealing while testing today. So I went to tighten the tension only to dicover a bolt missing, in fact its broken. The previous owner has drilled out and broken the drill bit off as well. Could this cause the misses due to low voltage? The voltage seemed to stay around 11.5-12.8volts. This bolt is also the ground for the alt.
