I have had 2 1100's. The first never had any electical problems. The 2nd, the stator went out twice. Find someone willing to let you swap out a stator to see if thats the problem.
You can meter out your stator and pick up coil to see if theire bad.
Check the ground straps they go bad or could be loose. Also check for loose connections. Since youre nto getting spark at all it may be just the pick up and not the stator
