I have a 96 seadoo XP It's driving me insane, I feel like I've tried everything, if anyone has any suggestions please let me know, I'll try anything at this point, lol. Here is what I have tried:
New battery, new starter relay, new top end, checked fuses, checked all grounds and cable, followed wiring harness no shorts. When I put lanyard in I get 2 beeps and no response. If I unplug the trim motor I get 2 beeps when I plug in Lanyard and when i push start button I get one long beep while pushing.

Have you checked the push button to make sure that it is working? If that is goo then just take the meter and follow the electricity. Do you get power to the starter relay? do you get voltage out? It is a matter of elimination. Good luck.

Im thinking put a volt meter on the starter and work your way back. You will get to a point where there will be 12 volts on 1 side and nothing on the other. Remember you have to press the starter button when you look for voltage. And the black lead has to be grounded.
