This ski is bogging out of the hole. Bogs for 10seconds and then takes off fine. I changed plugs and fuel filter. I also emptied fuel tank and put in Shell V-Power. Compression is good at 138 in each cylinder. Is this a fuel pump issue or do I need a carb rebuild? Does Sea Foam help in an engine like this? I have used it with success in my 4.3 liter I/O. Any other quick fixes? If I need a carb rebuild, I would like to wait until winter. Thoughts?

Sea Foam does nothing on PWC carbs...they're too small. It sounds like you need a rebuild. I would strongly caution you to either do it now or not ride it until you get it done because you can seize a motor by running with crappy carbs.

I don't understand how I could seize the motor if it is getting gas and oil. It runs fine after the first 5-10 seconds out of the hole. It is also being cooled properly. In no way do I mean to be rude in this reply.

When carbs get clogged up, they run lean. Lean carbs lead to pistons seizing.
