I have a 1996 90 HP mercury outboard 2 stroke and I have been experiencing some problems with it, I think it is ignition related, one cylinder does not fire at WOT or at very slow speed and only fires sometimes at medium, but when I put a timing light on the wires, all 3 cylinders were firing, and I put brand new plugs in and no change, I was wondering if anyone on here could help me, I am not sure how I am gonna get to read anyones results, so if you have any information that might help me, I am getting new plug wires today, about $30-40, I figure, it needs them anyways, regardless if it's the problem or not, but please if you have any info or suggestions, email me at Mel16m@aol.com and thankyou very much, have a nice day.
