Hello guys, I have a situation with my mariner that I would highly appreciate some input on. So boat was running fine until I lost spark on one whole side, its a six cylinder. Changed power packs fixed that issue. But at about the same time I lost my tachometer, and my boat now just starts very weakly when hot. Top end power is fine. Its just if I run a while and fish for 45 min or so it will pop and die, pop and die, and I mean just a quick pop, for a while before it weakly starts then I can get on step. Cold start is great.... Now I have two new regulator rectifiers to install. This should fix the tach but could this be causing the starting issue as well? Could the stator be the culprit for all of these series of event at about the exact same time. ? And guy I know I am new to this group but help would really be appreciated. I also have some advice in areas to help people where I can and I do intend to do so. So im not just going to milk advice here. And I will update!! Because that's the worst!!

reg/rectifiers, stator and trigger all could be suspect but you also have an "idle stabilizer" that can wreck havoc when they go south.. tha stabilizer can and should be trashed.. still good or not.. if you don't have an oem manual send me an email addy and i'll send ya one in pdf...
