I got a new problem i need some help with, thank you all in advance for reading and for any input you may have. I have a 96 1100 zxi that i have been working on all summer, just had it running good for a few weeks now it is cutting out on high speeds, and then sometimes kicking back in with the high speeds. example is i will have the throttle full and it will only be running at about 5800 rpm, and def isnt even as close to how fast it was a week ago, but it will stay at the 5800 rpm for a little while (maybe 5 mins) than suddenly it feels like a turbo it takes off and goes all the way to 7500 rpm. But it will only last around 30 - 45 seconds than it goes back to only getting up to 5800 rpms. in june I took apart the carbs and soaked all metal including jets and put them back together. They were super clean, and they were working good so im not sure if that would be my problem, also since it does work right some of the time, was also wondering if a dirty fuel filter could have any sort of effect in this type of situation, i have one coming in the mail but the one on there is old.
