I have set my like and sink, with the cam roller touching the timmer base, it starts and idles, when i connect the cable, it pulls the roller off the timer base 1/4 or so. In this position, will not idle,
I had bought a new control box during my build,
Should this motor idle the the rolled of off the timming base?

Not exactly sure what you're saying or asking, but it sounds to me like you're not setting your throttle cable right.

The cable is not long enough to hold the roller against the timmer plate.

I rebuilt the motor, same cables from old motor.
The only thing that could have happen, i used linkage parts from 95, mines an 96,
I would have never thought they were not the same motor
