96 GTX Skipping

Hello,

I have a 96 GTX that starting skipping after my son was pulling a wakeboarder.

I check the inline fuel filter and cleaned it. I also removed the fuel tank and cleaned it out. There was a little water and sediment in it.

It still wants to skip. It seemed better for a little while after cleaning the fuel tank.

Any suggestions on what my next course of action should be would be greatly apprieciated.

Skipping? I'm jealous, I used to be able to do that I was much younger then

if the tank has or had crap in it your internal carb filters probably have that in them also, I would replace the spark plugs, clean the rave valves and rebuild the carbs, also inspect the coil box for water and a good clean ground wire connection
