motor runs great otherwise but when trying to get out of the hole it will hesitate or maybe miss a little then go just fine. Responds well to the throttle after on plane and when you throttle down will idle all day long. The miss or stumble is very short like a second or two, nothing that most people on board really notice. As a matter of fact nobody has said a word but I notice it. Am I being to critical or could low speed jets be clogged? But with good idle could that still be the case?

I would probably start right where you mentioned, the slow speed jet. Clean it out thoroughally and see if the situation improves.

I think I will pull carbs and check them out. Can you clean the low speed jet without removing carb? Can you get to it from side port?

Save your self a headache pull the carbs. Since you have them off do a complete rebuild. a little crud in the carb never gets better only worse.

This will be the third "rebuild"since January. 1st time was when I got the boat and they needed it. Second time the bowl on the bottom carb would overflow when primer bulb was pumped one to many times. Must have been something in the needle. Changed the fuel/water seperator that time to. Guess will see whats in them again. Other then that it runs great.
