Hey, Hooking up a new steering system on my 16' fibreglass boat. Bought this motor recently and I have the controls I just need the steering setup. Call a local dealer, 200 bucks for the whole setup (steering wheel,helm, 15' of cable) and I guess whatever else comes with the Teleflex. One question he had was that he didn't know if it would fit on my motor. I guess he would be talking about the thread to the tilt tube or the length of the tube I'm not sure. Can anybody fill me in on the differences of the kits or what I should look at if buying one for this specific motor?
