Well after rebuilding carbs and new intake gaskets she sounds terrible. Now I checked the spark with a screw driver ta ground way and its not brite blue and snappy.I really tried hard keeping all parts clean thru-out this process in hopes all would be good. When I strarted her up there were some serious sneezin an coughin.I cleaned the plugs QL82YC which were ruff from all the trolling, no wake zones last season.I also cleaned the battery cable connections as well as the coil grounds.Could this be a pp problem? The stator looks fine No tests were performed though

Also at the end of last season she did not run well either. The fuel was treated but is ethanol crap.I will try a remote tank but the spark still has me worried

Go to cdielectronics.com. They have good ignition trouble shooting procedures. You may also want to do a compression test on it.

Test everything before replacing. I've seen stators look like that and they still worked.
