95 tigershark starter question

im trying to get the starter out of this thing,i know of the two bolts in the back is there one in the front where you cant see it. ordered a manual but its not here yet like it supposed to be.im new to these but not boats when you go to start it -it just makes a noise from the box on the side where the plug wires go.thanks for any help in advance.

Thats the electrical box. it has the starter solenoid inside. Try to arc across the two terminals of the solenoid. if the starter starts to turn then you just have a bad starter solenoid. If that doesnt work then you may jsut have a stuck starter bendix. i would gently tap on it with a screw driver handle or take off the fly wheel cover ( in front) and see if the bendix is just stuck in the flywheel teeth. There shoudl be two bolts on the front of the starter. the front of the starter has a oval shaped neck and there are two bolt holes 180* apart.
Most liekly the bendix is stuck since you are getti9ng a click from the solenoid. Jsut get it unstuck and spray some penetrating oil or WD 40 on the bendix. its most liekly rusted
