95 Sea Ray F16

Found one in local advertiser for what I thought was cheap ($1500-$2000) says it is in nice shape but has a bad piston. Just wandering if anybody has done repair on these and if it would be worth it to get a kit and fix it. Any help would be appreciated.

I believe it has a mercury 120 sport jet inboard with a jet drive. I have only had regular I/O before and didn't know if the two-cycle jet boats were any different to work on.

Oh yes! A completely different animal. It is more akin to a personal watercraft with an outboard powerhead (Force).
