95 merc 115 stator question

my stator went out and had a marina put a new one on. my merc is a 115 hp 4 cylinder and they put a three cylinder stator on it. will this cause any problems or long term problems down the road. thank you for any help.

Won't cause any problems. The same stator is used in the 3 cylinder (75 and 90) and the 4 cylinder (100, 115, 125) engines.....
