I have a model J40TEEO I am interested in converting it to electric tilt, Im sure somebody makes a system that will just bolt up, or can you use the same power cylinder and stuff from a similar motor that HAD power tilt? Is there somebody that sells used ones?

Check the top secret files at the beginning of this forum and look for salvage yards.

you and a million other people. New or used factory is best since it fits into exact same spot where manual assist comes out.
However, due to very high demand and limited supply, don't expect to get any bargains on that. Aftermarket power-lift jack plates may turn out better since they are easy to find for 40HP.
