I have a 1995 mercury 40 hp motor that is not running correctly. It has cylinders cutting in and out as it idles. The problem doesnt seem to go away as I increase throttle. At times it will die down to about 2 cylinders, then the others will catch for a bit, then go out again. Problem seems electrical to me, perhaps someone with knowledge of this motor knows something that they are famous for. <br /><br />Could someone please give me some suggestions on where to start to diagnose this problem.<br /><br />Thanks Van
