I have a 95 merc 40 hp in a starcraft 19' boat and the warning alarm both buzzes steadily and intermediatly at the same time. I would like to replace it but am having a hard time finding one. I have looked all over iboats.com but probably not looking in correct area. Like other folks on this sight have said, I've made sure the oil tank is full, and water is comming out of the weep hole although at times the water seems a bit hot.

Where could I look to get new sensor/buzzer? Also would like to locate service repair manual for this motor and all I can find on iboats is for everything but 1995 mercury 40 hp 4 cyl.

You may want to move this post to the Mercury motor section. Sounds like a motor problem, not Starcraft. Have you checked the warning module?

Thanks HONKER1 for reply. New at this forum thing. I guess it would be better in the Mercury motor section. Anyway, I guess the warning module that your talking about is the small red round little pizo sounding horn that I'm trying to figure out where to get one. If there is another module that you're talking about please let me know.

Thanks HONKER1 for reply. New at this forum thing. Thanks for the advice. Is the module the little red round horn sounding thing? If not please let me know. If it is, that's what I'm trying to find a place to buy one. If not, where should it be located?

Thanks
