94 Volvo pent Dual prop questions

I am looking at a boat that has the Volvo penta dual prop (pictures below). Is this a good drive? It has a 454 300Hp in front of it.

Have no idea what drive that is, it's just a drawing, not a photo.

Absolutely nothing wrong with that drive. Volvo ran that drive on their 6 cylinder diesels, the 454 should be no problem at all.

Where exactly did you find that picture? It looks like a scale model of a sterndrive for an RC boat.

The 280 drive has been made as a scale model for RC boats, but I have never seen the DP drive before.

Parts can cost a little more. We all know boating isn't cheap. I think you'd find the outdrive to be easy to work on and well built.

IMO, that is one of the best outdrives for a DIYer.
