94 OMC Sunbird Sizzler 115HP Turbo Jet

Motor seems to run fine. Put into water and boat will not plane. Tried another jet nozzle and impellor and it does the same. No noises in jet drive and oil is clean with no appearance of metal. Any ideas?? Thanks

Did you weigh the boat? I have a friend who has a jet boat with the same engine and he kept replacing parts trying to figure out why his boat would not plane. Turns out the plywood floor over the years had adsorbed water and his boat weighed 900 Lbs more that it should have. with a rating of 1200 Lbs it was almost overloaded before anyone got on the boat.
