So even with the Authentic Johnson Service manual, I still have questions:
Which fitting is the " lower main bearing fitting"?
The port side balancing tube hose goes to the lower breather fitting.
The upper breather fitting connects to which fitting?
How is the small "T" fitting connected on top?
Thanks in advance!

Well, I tank tested today. The problem is deff. A fuel starvation problem. Squezze the bulb on the boat or with a test tank and the problem goes away.
Not sure what there is to repair on the fuel pump?

I dont know that engine myself, but a lot of similar ones have fuel pumps with filters that can become clogged. Also if there is a reduction in crank case vacuum then that affects the energising of the pump, but thats a rare occurrence. Normally its caused by a diaphram (they a cheap to replace) getting a hole in it, these diaphrams are involved in the pumping mechanism

Yeah, I rebuilt the VRO oil and gas side.
I think I will take it apart again today and see whats up. Pretty simple design. The oil injection is working very well.
