Re: 94 gtx no spark
Well I totally disassembled the box, even sanded down the aluminum mounting plate to make sure had a good ground. none of the connectors are corroded, but I cleaned them all anyway. cleaned the main ground cable at both ends as well as both ends of positive cables. I pulled connectors for both kill switch and lanyard and found no problems with any of the components, all very clean and working well. pulled both mpem fuses and cleaned blades, tested them, ok.
I don't have a Fluke meter, but mine is not a real cheap one, and I am getting good readings on all of the components, is the ohm meter method of testing components reliable? The clymer manual mentions that sometimes coils are bad even if they read good. The dealer told me that seadoo coils rarely if ever fail. Should I just take it to the dealer and have them use the seadoo ignition tester? Or can you give me any last chance advice. I like the challenge of fixing things myself, but this one is getting me down.
thanks
