This is a question from a new jet ski owner, so please pardon my ignorance. What brand of 2-cycle oil should (can) be used in Yamaha Waverunners? Yamaha's brand seems to be very pricey. Thanks for the help!

Re: '94 & '96 Waverunner Oil Type?

I've been running outboards for a very long time and have had PWC's for 5 years...all waverunners. My experience is that any good TC-w3 will do just fine. I am not familiar with Sea Doos but I do know they have their own brand and at Walmart it is about 4 times the price of regular Wally World brand which seems to do a good job in everything I run....and I absolutely hate Wally World...but they're open at the right time and in the right place.

I have been running Walmart Supertech TCW-3 for several years in my Yama- Not a single problem and only $5.96/gal. I will not own a SeaDoo for the oil cost alone.
