'94 700 cc Waverunner dying during deceleration

seems to run good when it starts as long as it is being run, dies and is hard to start when stopping. <br /><br />i have two with same engine and gas was refueled at the same time every time so can i rule out bad gas since the same thing isn't happening to the other one. the one that is acting up did run low on reserve and died as we were entering marina, could this have caused it to act up? ended up killing battery trying to restart it several times, so i want to charge it and run a tank of injector cleaner through it to see if it helps.<br /><br />any help or advice would be appreciated.

could it be a fuel filter? seems i once had similar problems on a vehicle and ended up being a fuel filter.<br /><br />just thinking out loud!

that ski could have had some water in the tank and it was pulled in to the carbs or fuel system, check for water in the bottom of the tank it is a pretty common problem.
