94 25hp evinrude

i need to change the impeller in my 25hp evinrude. i ordered a manual, but it ain't here yet. i ordered the pump repair kit and i know how everything goes back together. do i need to use any kind of sealant when i put this back together or no? i thought i could recall talk on here about some older manuals calling for it and some not, and that the newer manuals don't call for it. if needed, is it something i can buy at auto zone, and whats it called

I've used Permatex Aviation Sealant. Its available at most auto parts stores.
