'94 200 Merc. Offshore, trim & tilt

Am experiencing a rather creaking sound when the motor is at the tilt range. Any ideas as to cause?

Check seal, and wiper in tilt cylinder, and tilt cylinder upper pivot pin. Spray with wd40 or oil and try it. lubricate engine bracket pivot shaft, should be 2 grease zerks.

GREASE THE ROLLER BALLS ON THE ENDS OF THR TRIM RAMS THAT SHOULD TAKE CARE OF THE NOISE
