94 15 yammy

Hello all I got a 94 Yamaha 15 outboard just did the leg oil now I notice it’s slowly weeping out of this hole, what could it possibly be. Bad seal somewhere?? Thank you

Definitely appears to be unburnt oil. It's also in a location that should be the path for your thru-hub exhaust. In my experience this happens after running it on muffs for a long time as the engine has no exhaust back pressure or resistance from a the prop in water. I'd say you have nothing to worry about.

that looks too dark to be fresh/clean lower unit lube.
what does it smell like?
lower unit lube stinks so you will be able to tell if it is that

does water normally come out of that hole while running on the muffs?
if so that is just a drain hole so water does not sit in that area.
is this motor an oil injected one or a premix?
