93 waverunner 3 help!!!

I have a 93 waverunner 3 and it never wants to start when im a the lake for the first run i always have to shoot starting fluid into it and it finally starts and runs? Also is there any way that i can make it go faster. it is only going 30 mph on a smooth lake?

You could try changing the impellar but 30 is all they did from the factory. As far as starting does it have a choke on it?

I have a 92 and i think its suposed to do 45 from the factory. Mine starts everytime with just a little choke. What type of maintenance have you done? Changed the fuel filter? Carb rebuilds are good to get to know your ski?
