93' Seadoo SPI

Hi,
I am restoring a 93 Seadoo SPI for my grandson and have run into a problem. I'm trying to remove the fuel/oil gauge from the hood and can't figure out how to do this, any ideas? Thanks for any help..

I am no expert on them by any meens but I do have a couple gauges here,they do not fit our SP as they never had gauges but came with the machine,They just have the metal u bracket on the back and two plastic nuts holds it on it appears....Goodluck

Thanks Carbineone. After closer inspection of this thing i believe it did have a bracket on it at one time. Looks like maybe someone broke it or lost it and then glued the gauge back in the hole. Guess i'll just have to work around it now when i paint. Thanks again for the input.....
