I have a 93 GTX, 587 motor, 2 black mikunni carbs. I recently cleaned and overhauled the carbs and now cannot get the ski to start/run. I put a spark tester on it and have good spark. Could someone tell me the initiall settings of the carbs as i may have no got them set correctly after rebuilding? and or tell me of someone that works on them in Kissimmee/ St. Cloud Fl. area?

high speed all the way in low speed 1.5 turns,, check the pulse tube for the front carb people forget to hook that back to the crank case,, and be sure the fuel hoses and return hoses are on in the correct place

Re: 93 seadoo gtx

I adjusted the carbs to the correct settings and the ski started fine and adjusted the idle, ran the ski on land for a while with water as instructed in the clymer book i have on that ski. Took the ski to the lake it started fine in the water and and idled fine but when I gave the gas it would die. Took ski back home and noticed that when I would give it gas/throttle the in-line fuel filter I installed would go empty. I recently put all new clear fuel line and cleaned the water seperator and the tank as well. I put a used fuel valve on it recently also as the other one had a broken screw in it.

check all hose clamps between the fuel pump and the fuel tank one loose conection can allow the pump to pull in air rather than gas,, I use clear fuel hose so I can see if any air bubbles are being pulled in and from what clamp.
